US Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

This notice provides additional information for users in the United States, including California. It should be read together with the main Privacy Policy.
1. Categories of personal information
- Identifiers: IP address, account ID (only if you purchase a Boost), username.
- Internet or network information: basic connection and device/browser signals needed to run the service.
- Approximate location: derived from IP address (country-level).
- Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
2. Purposes
- Provide and secure the chat service.
- Prevent abuse, enforce rules and apply IP blocks when needed.
- Process Boost purchases and assign them to your account.
3. Retention
- Security-related IP data is retained up to 30 days unless an IP is blocked for abuse.
- Accounts created for purchases are retained up to 30 days after your last activity and then deleted automatically.
4. Selling or sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Your rights
Depending on your state and circumstances, you may have rights such as the right to know, access, delete, correct, and the right to opt out of sale/sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
